The brand, which was created by 4 friends as a way of awakening in people questions about the current model of life, preaches the creation of habits always thinking about reducing the production of waste, with ideas of conscious consumption. The recipe for a homemade exfoliator with coffee grounds meets the desire of people who is looking to rethink their daily consumption and the use of quality products that can be reused before being discarded.
A large part of beauty products has so-called microplastics in their composition. They are the small spheres found mainly in skin exfoliation products. In addition to being dangerous to health, they also affect marine life, as they are not fully filtered in sewage treatments and end up being consumed by fish and other animals, which mistake them for food. Coffee grounds are an excellent natural product that acts as a natural exfoliant for the skin. It can be used simply, quickly, and efficiently and is rich in antioxidants and can increase blood flow, which helps with overall skin health. Another ingredient in this homemade exfoliation recipe is honey, rich in minerals, natural enzymes and vitamins that strengthen the immune system and rejuvenate. Applying the concept of “do it yourself”, it is possible to transform what would potentially be “garbage” into an efficient and sustainable product. Not only that, but it also reduces the environmental impact by generating less waste.
